A bit belated from the original ship date, the Vernon Kerswell's IndieGoGo superstar success the MicroDrone 3.0 is finally shipping. We have unboxed and reviewed it, and find that its mostly doing exactly what we hoped it would do (with some notable exceptions) And that it probably is a fairly successful deliverable in terms of what we have come to expect from crowd-funded multirotor. Walkera is back with a sexy little new speedster, with a claimed top speed of 120kmph. (about 80mph) The new 320 size racer is build around a cool new trick, articulated motors, which rotate forward as you give the quad more stick, the result is that the quad body stay level and aerodynamic instead of leaning 45 deg like they normally do. this trick reduce drag and make for faster acceleration. I've been using FPV goggles going back to before the MyVue goggles, goggles have slowly progressed from super crappy to almost pretty good. Right now state of the art goggles run roughly $500+ for goggles in the 45+ degrees field of view. The new HeadPlay goggles aim's to upset the market a bit, delivering a claimed 70deg FOV for roughly $250
You used to pay a lot for goggles and they usually didn't meet your expectations. With the headplays, I feel the experience exceeds my expectations and price.

The last year or so, Walkera have been launching two "me too" 300 size quads, delivering "me too" performance and experience trying to catch up to the infamous Phantom. With the new TALI it seems they have taken a step forward, and delivered a RTH video hexa aimed squarely at the more professionals in the RTF aerial video market.
Only a year ago, 2 axis brushless gimbals weighed 400grams and cost $500 - and now Walkera is selling their latest gimbal the G-2D, which is very lightweight at 134grams, and costing only $125. click through for my thoughts on this new lightweight gimbal.
