fun FUN FUN - then OUCH wipeout...!!!

Walkera F4 FPV - UPGRADE your radio with a external antenna.

Walkera have been releasing cool new RTF - Ready To Fly - FPV "toys"   and radios with build in video screen for flying these FPV devices. the biggest problem.  particularly with the smaller versions, is the short reach of the video link.    FIX this by modifying the radio to use external video antennas.

In this post, I give basic instructions for upgrading the video antenna on your F4 or F7 FPV radio so you can fly further with clear video.

FPV Logo Pin

Seems like FPV pilots ought to have some pilots wing.? 

So I did see somebody did a wings design, figured it could be turned into 3D and I will print a handful of them in the office.  Actually I really think this could be pretty awesome in diestruck metal with gold wings and gun-metal center logo... gotta make a mold first..

But on the topic of gettings ones wings flying FPV.  Im keeping a log-book and working on building hours, that is also the process I follow when flying full-size gliders, everything there is regulated, so it can't hurt applying some of the same concepts to my flying.  

Anybody else keep a logbook of their FPV hours.?
