BO: I still (Big Smile) Like My Truck, ROTFLMTO !!!...Double D

LOL Dwight, this world is better because there re truck-guys and not so truck guys out there.
BTW. in my experience, trucks serve perfectly fine as "setup tables". "start and landing platforms" oh and one can sit on the hood while flying. (don't ask how I know)

Bo: What you said is what I figured (good for the short haul) is what the back pack is all about. When I do camera work I usually carry a back pack for a few miles. Usually I have water and camera Gack (Wedges, VF Brackets, tape Measures,Focus targets, Ect.) in the bag, but still it's always poking and jabbing at you as you use it along the road. So I just figured with more concentrated mass and (smile) pointy edges and some weight it wouldn't be as easy as it looked! Well none the less it has it's purpose and looks like it can free you from the road case when needed. Myself I like the comfort of the Production Truck (small) I use Explorers & Blazers with the road cases inside and flying off portable Coleman Camping tables (so you don't have to stoop over or blow every bit of dirt on the ground into your Fuselage and your motors) with Helipad landing patterns on the table! Why you might ask because you can! Plus the Trucks can provide outside lights when needed and (especially in the winter) it is a nice place to work out of (did I mention Warm in the winter and cool in the summer) Oh and Heck if I'm (smile) not close enough at all to the subject matter then I guess I'll just have to fly in and Hover! That my friend is why I'm more of a truck guy than back pack guy ! Again however I do understand its use and do wander from time to time with my Quads from the truck but none the less is If had my Druthers, Smile well you know,Lmao!Double D

Hey Dwight, there really is not much room left, particularly the iPad is very tight, frankly it may be too tight. I pushed down the foam with the end of a sharpie a bit.
I did not put it on the scale yet, its about the same wight as a stock DJI case with 5+ batteries.
comfort is surprisingly good, well like a mid range backpack, not north face, not sears.
I don't think I would want to hike it more than a hour or so.. if I had the need i would probably repurpose the harness from one of my old backpacks. :-)

Bo:

Great stuff job !!! Not much room left over to spare. How much does the backpack weigh with all the goodies inside? When its on your back how does it feel? Oh and do any of the contents push out and jab you in the back? How's the over all comfort while wearing it for quite a while and hiking around all over the place ?...Double D
