OH WOW. Just got a AMAZING prototype QUAD from Walkera, the new SCOUT X4, We have unpacked the test quad, taked it appart, flown it, and frankly, its the BEST flying Walkera QUAD EVER. Holy Stuff. Matt can't stop talking about how nice it flies.

The last year or so, Walkera have been launching two "me too" 300 size quads, delivering "me too" performance and experience trying to catch up to the infamous Phantom. With the new TALI it seems they have taken a step forward, and delivered a RTH video hexa aimed squarely at the more professionals in the RTF aerial video market.

Only a year ago, 2 axis brushless gimbals weighed 400grams and cost $500 - and now Walkera is selling their latest gimbal the G-2D, which is very lightweight at 134grams, and costing only $125. click through for my thoughts on this new lightweight gimbal.

It was just last summer that Walkera announced their first RTF GPS quad. the x350 was a nice little plastic quad, flew OK but was not a run-away success.
And then BAM. Walkera start 2014 with the new and improved x350pro, it is still white, still have the cool pointed nose and rocket motors on the backside. but so much have changed.
